Personal Fitness Trainer Certification (66 hrs) This Personal Fitness Trainer Certification course prepares students for employment in one of the fastest growing careers. Attend Saturday morning lectures and enjoy afternoon practical training at a local health club/ gym. Learn biomechanics, exercise physiology, fitness testing, equipment usage, and health assessment. In order to earn the World Instructor Training Schools (W.I.T.S.) nationally recognized certification, you must complete the Personal Fitness Trainer Certification course (32 hours), pass the W.I.T.S. national exam (4 hours), obtain your CPR/AED certification (6 hours), and complete a 30 hour internship at a local gym.
