Professional Development Non-Profit Management Certificate Program NEW The program is designed to help you acquire the skills needed for success in the field of Non-Profit Management. These classes offer entry and mid-level managers, as well as others interested in the field an opportunity to develop and enhance skill sets that will yield immediate results. How does a leader build a team and continue to motivate non-profit workers? How do you evaluate team members to inspire their growth? These and other leadership questions will be explored. Sun 10:00am to 3:00pm 10/27/13 CE4151-F01 5 hrs. 1 session $85 Evaluating Your Organization An exploration of all aspects of organizational evaluations including stakeholders, the evaluation of a strategic plan and program goals, this course will teach participants how to design a questionnaire, plan an evaluation and discuss the value of various evaluation methods. Explore board recruitment, development and retention in this course and suggestions for ways to find potential board members. The course will focus on key federal/state/local employmentâ€“related laws and regulations. Students will explore the role of finance management in non-profit organizations and discuss IRS requirements, governance structure, filing a 990, audits and financial presentations to the board.
