Partnerships New Opportunities for Careers in Healthcare for Low-Income Individuals Hostos Community College received a Health Profession Opportunity Grant from the US Department of Health and Human Services to offer the Allied Health Career Pipeline Program. The program is a career-focused job training program for low-income individuals to gain careers in the allied health professions. The Pipeline Program will provide enrolled students with all the necessary services and support to complete the training course and internship, pass the state certification examination and achieve employment. Ultimately, students may choose to continue their training along the pipeline leading to college entry to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This program is for low-income individuals looking for career opportunities!
