HIGH SCHOOL Played baseball for four seasons under head coach Sam Blalock at Rancho Bernardo HS...helped the Broncos to a 54-14 combined record over his junior and senior seasons...led Rancho Bernardo to back-to-back CIF San Diego Section championships in 2010 (9-5 versus Poway) and 2011 (6-0 versus Grossmont)...posted a 2.77 ERA in his senior season while making 14 appearances. PERSONAL Parents are Mark and Kay Upchurch...major is communications...would like to become a sports reporter.

HIGH SCHOOL Played four seasons of varsity baseball for head coach Craig Gianinno..hit .301 with a .440 on-base percentage in his senior season with 15 runs, nine RBIs and five doubles...also played football for two seasons and wrestled as a freshman. PERSONAL Parents are Richard and Dana Lewis...major is kinesiology...after baseball, he plans to be a coach or athletic trainer.
