At Washington State (2009-10)

Played two seasons (2009-10) at Washington State after transferring from Boise State…as a junior in 2010, Diemer averaged 5.80 assists per set while appearing in seven matches and 15 sets…had a career-high 42 assists against UC Santa Barbara… also had 28 assists against UC Irvine, and 11 vs. Tulsa…left the team in mid-September…as a sophomore in 2009, Diemer played in 14 matches, including 19 sets…averaged 0.89 assists and 0.58 digs per set…posted a season-high six assists against Montana State, and season-best seven digs at sixth-ranked UCLA.

At Boise State (2008) Spent her freshman season (2008) at Boise State…played in 11 matches, including 14 sets…averaged 1.71 assists and 0.36 digs per set…had season totals of two kills, 24 assists, five digs and two blocks.

High School A 2008 graduate of Rocklin High School…played four years of volleyball as a setter and rightside hitter, and competed four seasons with the track team as a sprinter and jumper…in volleyball, she was a three-time first team all-Sierra Foothill League selection, and named the league’s MVP as a senior…was the volleyball team captain during both her junior and senior seasons…as a senior, she helped lead the Thunder to a 34-8 overall record, an 11-2 conference mark and a quarterfinal appearance in the Div. II Northern California playoffs…named MVP of the Sacramento Optimist All-Star match…during her track career, she was a member of the school-record setting 4x400m relay team… named Rocklin High School’s Female Athlete of the Year in 2007.

Personal Born June 20, 1990…parents are Will and Mindi…a psychology major…father, Will, played baseball at Santa Clara…played high school volleyball with current Hornets Janelle Currey and Kelsey Elston at Rocklin High School.

Played two seasons at Gonzaga (2009-10) of the West Coast Conference…in two years with the Bulldogs, she appeared in 43 matches, including 21 starts…combined to average 1.53 kills, 0.49 digs and 0.34 blocks per set while appearing as an outside and rightside hitter…as a sophomore in 2010, Genger started 18 of the 28 matches in which she appeared, and finished the season averaging 1.86 kills, 0.56 digs and 0.29 blocks per set…tallied double figures in kills on four occasions, including a career-high 13 against Idaho…posted her first career double-double (12 kills, 12 digs) against Santa Clara…as a freshman in 2009, Genger appeared in 15 matches (three starts), and 32 sets…had season totals of 18 kills, three aces, nine digs and 15 blocks…her season high of six kills came against Washington.

High School A 2009 graduate of Kentwood High School in Covington, Wash…played four years of both volleyball and basketball for the Conquerors…in volleyball, she was named first team all-state and the South Puget Sound League MVP as both a junior and senior…led the team to league titles all four years, including a pair of district championships…holds the school record for career hitting percentage (.293) and the record for aces in a match (14)…in basketball, she was a two-time second team all-state selection and four-time first team all-league choice…also led the basketball team to league championships all four years of her career, including two district titles and the 4A state championship in 200809…was named the Kentwood High School Student-Athlete of the Year as a senior.

Personal Born Nov. 14, 1990…parents are Tres and Barb Genger…a communication studies major…played seven years for the Kent Juniors Volleyball Club, the same club that produced former Hornet standout Kristin Lutes…mother, Barb, played basketball at Montana…father, Tres, played football at Western Montana.
