But it was never used, according to the costume designer, because the weather was warm and the baby didn’t need it. Pride and Joy didn’t completely miss its shot at Harry Potter magic, however: Ron Weasley’s R sweater, worn on Christmas morning, is a Pride and Joy creation. When the photographer for Weekend Knitting, Ericka McConnell, saw the heart Luggy Bonnet shown here, she immediately exclaimed, “I want one in my size.’’ So, with the designers’ permission, adult sizing was added to the pattern.

Using MC, CO 6 sts and purl 1 row.
