ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF MY NAME IS L.T.P

(Unsigned Hype)

(Spotlight Artist)

Tell us about where you’re from and when you started recording music? I’m from Philadelphia’s Logan area, and I started composing lyrics at the age of 14 and I’ve been on a journey ever since. How would you describe your music and style? My style of music is southern from what I’ve been told from other listeners. I focus on giving people soul food and not fast food, meaning soul food is catered to the individual, while fast food is for your convenience (hence the term fast food). I would rather give the listener something that took time and not something that is fast & sloppy. What was the highlight in your career? The highlight of my career is when I switched management teams which created a wider audience for me to showcase my craft as an artist. My management team is Shades Of Brown Live Entertainment (SOB,LE) A lot of artists disappear off the music scene after success hits them. How do you plan on staying on top of your game as a musician? Honestly, I’m just focusing on maintaining my lane, keeping my head on straight and staying humble. In order to stay on top of my game, I just focus on giving the people my real life, not something fictitious. If I stay focused, humble and true to myself & craft, staying on top shouldn’t be that difficult. What artist(s) inspired you when you were younger? My inspiration actually came from my surroundings. Most of my friends were deep into the hip-hop genre, and I was attracted to the type of attention it brought to the playing field, so I wanted to be apart of that spotlight. Now that all of my friends have stopped rapping, I fell in love with the power of music and what it creates. But for the record, I was inspired by Cool C, Kool G Rap, and Biggie. What advice can you give to other artists like yourself? From one Artist to the next, I would say work extremely hard and being persistent is a key element. Also, always be yourself which is so hard for an artist to do in this industry. Any deals or situations on the table for you? As far as deals and things of that nature, I have a couple things in the queue but nothing finalized. Are you more interested in obtaining a Record deal or being Independent? A Record deal always sounds good, but the kind of record deal is very important. My management team and I are focusing more on creating a brand rather then sending a bunch of unsolicited cd’s in the mail to be returned. But for the record, if the right opportunity comes, we will be more then willing to negotiate. What's the best way for people to contact you? The best way to get in touch with me is contact my management team at shadesofbrownent@hotmail.com URL http://www.reverbnation.com/#!/thebandisveryuniqueandorigialinitsownway
