Alexander’s is an island tradition for excellent fresh seafood of many types. There also is a good selection of landlubber fare, including filet mignon, New York strip steak and more. Choose from more than 100 hand selected wines to compliment the freshest seafood and hand trimmed steaks and enjoy the vintage Harley Davidson collection. Dinner is served seven days a week from 5 p.m. An excellent early bird menu is available between 5-5:45 p.m., which features choice of soup or salad, one of 11 entrées and iced tea or lemonade for $15.99. House wine is $3.50 a glass. Nice casual dress. Reservations accepted.

Anglers Grill’s fresh seafood is broiled, blackened, fried or seared. Also sandwiches, salads, burgers, and more. Anglers Grill is good-looking and family-friendly. Try the fried shrimp or Tidal Wave of Onion Rings. Wide variety of choices and prices, although none are very high. Kids’ Guppy Meals, take-out and delivery are available. Lunch and dinner, both using the same menu, are served from 11:30 a.m. “until” seven days a week, in season. $15.95 small plates menu served all evening from 5 p.m. includes soup or salad, choice of six or more entrées and a soft drink (available through November). Happy Hour is from 4-7 p.m. and includes $5 appetizers, $2 domestic beer, $4 house wine and $4 well drinks. All day drink special.

Enjoy seafood, beef or chicken entrees such as Stuffed Flounder Del Ray, Snow Crab Clusters, Peel N Eat Shrimp, Shimp & Grits, Surf & Turf, Sea Salt Rubbed Rib of Beef, Bourbon Glazed New York Strip or Pecan Crusted Chicken. Carolina Seafood House also offers sandwiches such as the half-pound bacon cheeseburger and shrimp, oyster and clam strip po-boys. Desserts include key lime pie, pecan pie and chocolate lava cake. The children’s menu consists of the octo dog, chicken fingers and popcorn shrimp.

Patrons may choose to dine or enjoy libations indoors or outdoors with a view of Broad Creek. The Black Marlin serves the island’s largest selection of fresh seafood, frozen drinks and delicious hand cut steaks in a casual relaxing atmosphere. The menu focuses on a variety of seafood, steaks and fresh fish daily. There are daily blackboard seafood selections, plus nightly specials that incorporate season items purchased locally whenever possible. The Black Marlin serves lunch and dinner seven days a week and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Early dining from 4-5:30 p.m. gives you a choice of 12 entree selections, soup or salad and a soft drink for $15. Happy hour is 4-7 p.m. with $3.75 margaritas, $2.75 house wines and Coronas. Captain Woody’s (Page 149) Captain Woody’s Hilton Head has moved to 6 Target Road, off of Palmetto Bay Road and across from the Publix shopping center.
