HID Nation - Drive in daylight conditions at night with HID kit

Why Standard Halogen Lights are Inadequate There are several reasons why the standard halogen lights are inadequate for use while driving your car at night. One of the basic reasons of course is that these lights still have filaments inside. These filaments are firstly brittle thereby limiting the life of the halogen bulbs. Secondly, filaments draw very high current. But, most importantly, while daylight color temperature is around 4300k that of halogen lights is a poor 2300k. There is therefore no doubt that the standard halogen lights are not only inadequate, these are unsafe for night use. Thankfully, today High Intensity Discharge (HID) light kits are available that have made night drives a safe proposition.

HID Lights are Safe The HID headlight kit contains two HID bulbs, two ballasts and two brackets for mounting the ballasts. The HID bulb is an ingenious device. It consists of two electrodes of tungsten immersed in an atmosphere of Xenon or similar noble gases. The resultant discharge mimics lightening and has a color temperature of between 4300k and 6000k and higher. The HID light kits are therefore safer, more durable and far brighter than the standard halogen lights. The HID light is 300% brighter besides consuming 35% less current and lasting on an average up to ten years or 3000 hours of use. These figures place the HID light at a far higher level in terms of safety and durability when compared to the standard halogen light. The HID kit is also smart to look at and actually improves the looks of the car on which it is installed.

HID Kits are Available for all Automobiles There is a HID headlight kit available for your car too. To find out the details of the bulbs applicable for your car you will need to check out the bulb guide. The HID light kits are easy to install as well. Normally you will not need any expert's help. However, there is an instructional video on the subject that you may place an order for.

HID Kits Have a Warranty Each HID headlight kit is covered by warranty between one year and a lifetime depending entirely upon your choice. Finally, each HID bulb comes with its own specification such as 3000k, 6000k and 8000k. These specifications relate to color temperatures. Therefore, 3000k is for yellow while 6000k is for bright white and 8000k for light blue. While placing an order one will need to specify the color temperature for which the bulbs are being sought. All dispatches are made from within the US. Your package will therefore reach you within a couple of days.
