Transformers • Voltage compensation circuit: Prevents premature bulb failure • Auto-reset technology: Electronic circuitry operates ”without” fuses and resets itself with overheat, short-circuit, or overload is fixed • Overheat protection • Short circuit protection • Terminal block is an integral part of the transformer: This makes the connecting system easy and almost foolproof
Spotlights • Can be recessed into a pocket hole without any ventilation on the back surface • Aluminum reflectors: Cause high light output • Air ventilation system: Allows for better heat dissipation and low temperatures at surface • Special heat resistant plastic • Plastic flange behind reflector: Insulates surface from reflector reducing surface heat • Upgraded lamp socket: Specially designed to handle high temperatures which eliminates future problems with relamping • Frosted lens available: Some systems cannot get a UL listing with frosted lens due to heat problems. This allows for better light distribution and less glare • German plating: Insures high quality plating which will not flake or bubble
