Remember your feel. For a whimsically eclectic wedding, play with something unique like succulents, ranunculus and craspedia. For a soft and romantic feeling, consider alchemilla, lavender, hellebore and hydrangeas. Select an assortment of garden flowers, simply bundled as if they were just picked. Provide a few inspirational photos for colour, feel and style, but ultimately, give your florist creative freedom to wow you. Dress them up! Display your flowers in vintage pitchers, planters, old glass and retro, charity-shop finds! Accessorise, Accessorise, Accessorise! Consider things like burlap, buttons, feathers, lace and brooches.

Vintage style has everything to do with content, colour and saturation. Aging a photograph used to take time. But now, with post-production, any image can be tweaked to give it that vintage look. Vintage photos look faded and soft in contrast. Look for a photographer who has shown consistency in their portfolio to deliver that vintage flair that you are looking for. During your portrait session, bring along vintage content to add to your vintage portraiture. Props such as vintage cameras, shoes from a different era, a brooch or a pin in your outfit that is an heirloom piece or sourced from a vintage store, will help make your image become more vintage. Almost any location can be made to look vintage as long as you have the right props. Keep an eye out for old cars, furniture from a different era, rustic settings and vintage clothing to help with the content of your photos.
