What have you loved about 2014? I have love seeing the fast growing of some “secondary” events in the design and fashion field. I appreciate to see that their attitude of being humble has paid them back, as they are willing to listen to constructive criticism and try their best to make it better. The level of success of a project all a matter of people—more than organization and technical skills. What have you learned from 2014? Design42Day has launched its design brand LOFT42. We produce products like a lamp, chairs, necklace and a wine glass. I’ve learned a lot about production, talking with factories, discovering Italian joiners facing new kind of problematics, it is a new experience and I enjoy it and now I can explain my job to my grandfather, he never fully understood terms like web magazine, media partner, media communication etc, now I can just tell him: I make chairs. What are you looking forward to in 2015? I’m headed to increase the collaborations with companies in China and the U.A.E. Apart from that, I will finally be able to play with Lego bricks, my brother will give to his son (my nephew) of 3 years old Lego bricks for Christmas so with the excuse of taking care of my nephew, I’ll play with Lego as well. I am 32 years old and I’d feel uncomfortable to enter in a toy shop and buy Lego for me, but that way it’s fine.

LORNA C. SOLANO Editor of TheFabReport.com INSTAGRAM: What have you loved about 2014? I know this might seem cliche, but I’ve enjoyed seeing the advances in wearable technology. I have a smart watch and it’s always a conversation starter. What have you learned from 2014? Things aren’t always what they seem. You have to peel the potato to get to whole story. What are you looking forward to in 2015? To see whether the #fashioncouple stays together. Kidding! Okay, maybe a little but I am also looking forward to seeing how we resolve issues affecting women.
