HAWAII COMMUNITY FOUNDATION CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER The Hawaii Community Foundation (HCF) is a public, statewide, charitable foundation that is supported by contributions for the benefit of Hawaii’s people. As a public foundation, HCF provides stewardship of more than 800 funds established by individuals, businesses, and families that serve a broad range of interests in our community. Last year, HCF administered over $47 million in grants and contracts while serving as a recognized resource on community issues and philanthropic trends. HCF is governed by a board of 20 community leaders, and supported by 70 staff and a volunteer leadership network throughout the islands. We seek a leader whose passion for service to the community has been demonstrated through proven leadership of a complex, statewide enterprise that depends on the skills and motivation of its staff. The ideal candidate will have proven ability to raise funds and understands Hawaii’s diversity, including neighbor islands and rural communities. The candidate will have a track record of successfully building and managing relationships at individual and institutional levels and bringing together a wide range of stakeholders. We seek a strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset who is a compelling communicator. Personal attributes include honesty, integrity, and a passion for our mission and our community.
