They were displaying, getting in disagreements, stalking the hens, etc. I walked about a half mile down a muddy road to get the shots, but ended up with quite a few that I liked. It was the first time I had ever seen them in the mating season. Pretty interesting. They sure could walk a lot faster than I could!
