REGARDLESS of age, experience, or relationship to the industr y, these singers, songwriters—some of them bandleaders—are all wearing similar (proverbial) shoes. Their respective strides var y: some stomp and trudge; others glide witht softer poise. But in their own way, they’ve each already begun something distinct and special.
