Associazione nata nel 2002 per ridare vita al Festival Internazionale del Film sull’Arte e di Biografie d’artista: importante iniziativa inaugurata nel 1973 come novità senza precedenti nel panorama internazionale (Andrej Tarkovskij fu il vincitore della prima edizione), poi cessata nella seconda metà degli anni Ottanta. L’A.I.A.F. accoglie un patrimonio filmico di oltre 3000 titoli, suddivisi da quest’anno in sei diverse sezioni (Film sull’arte, Biografie d’artista, Videoarte, produzioni sperimentali/scuole, architettura e design). The Association was fouded in 2002 with the intention to revive the International Film Festival of Artworks and Biographies of Artists: this important initiative was inaugurated in 1973 and hailed as an inovative festival without precedents on the international scene (Andrej Tarkovskij won the the first edition) however; it was discontinued in the second half of 1980s. The A.I.A.F controls more than 3000 film titles that are sub-divided into six categories (Films on Artworks, Artists biographies, Videoarts, Experimental Productions/schools, Architecture and Design). Azioni Inclementi-Arti e mestieri del narrare è un festival tenuto annualmente a Schio, con giornate di incontri di letteratura e poesia, reading, concerti, teatro, installazioni artistiche, spettacoli per bambini, mostra-mercato del libro. Filo conduttore è il recupero della dimensione del narrare, attraverso la lettura ad alta voce fatta “risuonare” in modalità artisticamente significative. Demanding -arts and the skills of Narrating Crafts Actions is an annual festival organised in Schio, with literature and poetry assemble, readings, concerts, theatre, artistic installations, kids shows and a books fair. The intent of this gathering is to recover the narrative significance, through reading out loud ”risonare” in an artistic way.

B-MOTION (OPERA ESTATE)
Il terzo segmento di Operaestate Festival Veneto si svolge nella seconda metà di agosto ed è dedicato al linguaggio universale della danza; del corpo rappresentato e sperimentato da artisti e spettatori, critici e operatori. Un progetto nato per esplorare e riflettere insieme, ma anche per promuovere, in Italia e all’estero creazioni e residenze dei giovani artisti sostenuti. E per il pubblico del festival la possibilità di immergersi nella densità delle emozioni e dei talenti, delle idee e della loro rappresentazione. The third segment of Operaestate Festival Veneto runs in the second half of August and is dedicated to the universal language of dance, where the body is represented and studied by artists, critics, operators, and spectators alike. This project was developed to discover, analyse and promote the creations and residences of young subsidized artists in Italy and abroad. For the festival audience, this is a chance for dipping into these artists’ emotional density, talent and ideas.

DOLO NEI TEATRI
Il Festival è nato nel 2000 come vetrina indipendente per i registi emergenti con un target allargato, in grado di coinvolgere giovani, adulti e professionisti del settore. Dedicato principalmente al cinema è aperto ad ogni forma di espressione visiva presentandosi come un evento che tocca i diversi aspetti della produzione creativa attraverso le immagini: fiction, videoclip, pubblicità, video sperimentali, animazioni, documentari e fotografia. Dal 2006 organizza un Mercato del Cortometraggio per presentare e stimolare le opportunità economiche e distributive delle opere realizzate. The Festival was born in 2000 as an independent showroom for emergent film directors with amplified aim to involve young and older professionals in the sector. Principally dedicated to filmmaking and is opened to all forms of visual expressions just like an event which touches on different aspects of creative productions through images: fiction, videoclip, publicity, video experimentation, animation, documentaries, and photography. Since 2006 the festival organizes a Short film market for presenting and stimulating the economic and distributing opportunities of film. Il progetto dell’Associazione Culturale Echidna ha visto attori e autori condurre il pubblico in racconti suggestivi e in un percorso tra luoghi, tra presente e futuro. Il domani deve necessariamente iniziare sia dalla riscoperta degli ambienti attuali, sia dal considerare l’attività teatrale non come fine, ma come mezzo per lo sviluppo culturale, sociale ed economico della città stessa. Futuro che vuole credere nella vocazione di Dolo ad ospitare il teatro, a divenire teatro. The Echidna cultural Association project has seen actors and authors offer to the public suggestive story-telling which takes the audience on a journey from present to the future. The future must begin with a rediscovery of current surroundings as well as viewing the theatrical activities not as the end but as a tool for cultural, social and economic development of the city. A future that everyone wants to believe in-with Dolo’s commitment to host and become a theatre.

F.I.L.I. FESTIVAL (SALZANO)

Dal 2003 l’Associazione Culturale Echidna ha sviluppato una ricerca storica sulla vecchia Filanda Jacur, producendo un materiale documentaristico, tra fonti scritte ed orali, con l’aiuto di artisti di grande talento. Il Filanda Idee Lavoro Identità intende trasformare quella che era la “produzione industriale” in “produzione culturale”, con la consapevolezza che il luogo e la sua storia hanno consegnato ai posteri un concetto di lavoro particolare, visto come un processo lungo e faticoso, che crea competenze e mestieri. In 2003 the ECHIDNA Cultural Association developed a historical research on the old Filanda Jacuar, and produced a documentary using oral and written sources as well as the help of very talented artist. The Filanda Ideal Work intends to transform the so called “Industrial Production” into “Cultural Productions” with the understanding that the place has and its history delivered to our descendents a concept of a particular work, considered a long and arduous process, which creates jobs and competence.
