We ekend Camp Renaissance Weekend The Renaissance was a cultural explosion that spanned the 14th to the 17th centuries. We are bringing it alive this summer with our own unique RenFestthemed camp session. There’s so much to explore - castles, crowns, coat of arms with gargoyles, stained glass and much more! Don’t miss the creative trip back into history. Grossology Disgusting or delightful? We say – BOTH! Girls can explore the muddy, wet, creepy-crawly, ooey and gooey too! Get gross at camp with science experiments and exploration. Girls will earn requirements for the Naturalist Series Brownie Bugs badge and Junior Flower badge. Grade Level: Brownie & Junior (entering 2 - 5 grade) Cost: $35 per girl Location: Camp Welaka Date: Saturday, June 28 – Sunday, June 29 (1 night) Time: 10 a.m. on Saturday to 10 a.m. on Sunday
Midnight Mayhem This is a no bedtime camp session for older girls. We would like to introduce girls to a different side of Camp Welaka under the stars using flashlights and the moonlight as our guide. We have night hikes and campfires planned with a mix of astronomy, story-telling and just the right amount of mayhem! Of course, we have sleeping accommodations for those who turn-in early or need to sleep in on Sunday.
