Outdoor Explorer

6 day • $290 • week 2 or 6 Every star has a story; explore the clear night skies at Maripai, learn the stories of the constellations and make some of your own. We’ll follow the moon, learn how to use a telescope, and navigate by the stars. Take a night hike, or watch a midnight movie on the field! Participate in one horseback riding lesson. Enjoy the traditional camp activities during the day, but at night this camp is all yours! »» Focus Area: STEM »» Award: Work on Camp Maripai’s Astronomy Patch

Run, Shoot, Ride!

6 day • $315 • week 5 Come play with us! Try everything camp has to offer, and experience the wonders of Prescott and the surrounding National Forest. In this session, girls will visit the Sharlot Hall Museum and Smoki Museum where we’ll learn about Prescott’s rich southwestern roots, and visit Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary to get up close with some local and exotic animals. And there’ll still be time for archery, s’mores, and one riding lesson back at camp! »» Focus Area: Global Citizenship »» Award: Work on the Animal Habitats and Junior Girl Scout Way Badges

Prescott Playground

6 day • $290 • week 3 or 7 Improve your shooting skills with several archery lessons and pack an energizing lunch for a half-day hike out of camp. Make cool crafts out of recycled items, discover how animals at camp use energy, interview an energy expert, and plan a dance party for the whole camp! You’ll also take part in one riding lesson. »» Focus Area: STEM »» Award: Work on the “Get Moving” Journey.

4 day • $235 • week 1, 8 or 9 New to camp? Want to learn about horses? This session is perfect for the older Girl Scout who wants to experience all that camp has to offer. You’ll enjoy two riding lessons learning about horse care and basic riding skills. You’ll also sample other camp activities like crafts, archery, and cookout. »» Focus Area: Healthy Living »» Award: Work on Maripai’s Horse Patch Program
