Every star has a story; explore the clear night skies at Maripai, learn the stories of the constellations and make some of your own. We’ll follow the moon, learn how to use a telescope, and navigate by the stars. Take a night hike, or watch a midnight movie on the field! Participate in one horseback riding lesson. Enjoy the traditional camp activities during the day, and at night this camp is all yours!

Take a deep breath, and follow your nose to camp! From the fresh scent of the pines to the aromatic herbs grown in our garden, Maripai is the perfect place to indulge the senses and waft your way through several activities from the “Breathe” Journey! Take a scent hike, make your own lotion, and help out in the herb garden and more! You’ll also get to experience many camp activities, including one horseback riding lesson.

Trailblazers
GRADES 9-10 GRADES 11-12 13 DAY | $700 | WEEK 2 and 3

Practice your balance with bareback riding, explore the trails around camp, head out for a half-day trail ride, and create a performance on horseback for the entire camp! You’ll spend more than 13 hours on horseback, weather permitting, plus take part in activities to help you care for and build relationships with horses. Intermediate and advanced riders only. Campers must be able to lead, groom, mount, dismount, and control a horse at a walk and trot with a balanced seat.

Wild & Free! GRADES 4-5
6 DAY | $310 | WEEK 7 Explore the untamed wilderness of the Prescott National Forest and discover the animals who live there. Learn about animal habitats around camp, then take a trip to the Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary and meet animals from all over the world. Back at camp, you’ll also have time for archery, arts & crafts, canoeing, and one horseback riding lesson!
