THE Gold Coast/Tweed senior netball squad, Golden South HCC Jags are working hard in training gearing up for the commencement of 2012 season. Under coach Paula Stuart, the squad are fine tuning preparations for season openers in March. They will travel to
Cairns and Townsville during the season for games, however there will be many home games at home on the Gold Coast. Seen above are the squad, with Paula Stuart (coach), Helen Payne (asst coach), and Sandra Walsh (manager).

Twin Towns Evening VIEW Club
TWIN Towns Evening VIEW Club (Voice, Interests and Education of Women) meets the second Wednesday of each month at the Tweed Heads Bowls Club. Dinner is at 6.30pm. Ladies of all ages are welcome to join us. We are raising funds for the Smith Family’s “Learning for Life” program educating disadvantaged Australian children. Members e n j o y g r e a t friendship not only over dinner with interesting guest speakers and theme nights, but also weekends away, shopping trips and social activities.
