Interim Director of the George Center for Honors Studies & Associate Professor of Biology Q: What is a Greensboro College honors student like? A: Greensboro College honors students want to be part of a community. They are deeply involved on campus. And they show up wanting to make a difference. It’s here at Greensboro College that they find out how they’re going to do that. 4
Uniquely Greensboro
Q: Why would a student want to be part of the honors program? A: Students describe being part of the program as being part of a family. What’s ironic and truly special about this tight-knit family is that they’re from all disciplines—biology, theatre, religion, etc. It’s the open sharing of all their different perspectives that creates a sense of unity among them—and develops them all into better thinkers.
