Basic Education And GED Preparation

New ABE/GED students call (253) 833-9111, ext. 2315 for assessment and registration appointment. Continuing students should talk to their Basic Skills instructor or go to RLC-125. GED and Adult Basic Education Classes Students who want to study for the GED test or want to improve their basic math, reading, and writing skills are encouraged to enroll in Adult Basic Education or GED classes. GRCC offers ABE and GED classes that give students the opportunity to work individually or in small groups to accomplish their specific learning goals. In these classes, GED students have the opportunity to practice the GED tests and get expert instruction and advice before taking the tests. Registration is easy! Simply take a short placement test to assess your skills before registering. A $25 tuition fee will be charged for any combination of BASIC classes each quarter. Tuition waivers available.
