Cassidy Josephine Nelson Master William/Tiny Tim, A Christmas Carol Three seasons at Great Lakes Theater Cassidy is 9 years old, and in the third grade. She is thrilled to return to Great Lakes Theater for her third season. Morgan August Isabella Street Child/Swing, A Christmas Carol Great Lakes Theater debut Morgan is honored to join the Great Lakes Theater cast for the first time as Street Child in this season’s A Christmas Carol. Morgan has a deep love for theater, and some of her favorite roles include Pepper in Annie at Weathervane Community Playhouse and Mayzie LaBird in Seussical Jr. the Musical at Falcon Academy of Creative Arts in Brimfield, where she attends sixth grade. Morgan also enjoyed playing an Orphan in Fagin’s Gang in Oliver!, Jayne Bailey in It’s A Wonderful Life and Marika the Dutch Girl in Miracle on 34th Street at Dynamics Community Theater. At age 11, Morgan spends her time listening to music, participating in choir, drawing anime characters and hanging out with friends. She loves to sing, and recently won first place in her hometown talent contest singing Adele’s Rolling in the Deep, a capella. Morgan feels incredibly blessed

Cameron Danielle Nelson Sara/Polly/Want, A Christmas Carol Five seasons at Great Lakes Theater Cameron is 11 years old, and in the sixth grade. She is very excited to return to Great Lakes Theater for her fifth season. Past favorite credits include A Christmas Carol – four seasons (Tiny Tim, Sarah Crachit) Great Lakes Theater; The Sound of Music (Brigitta), Damn Yankees (Ensemble), Annie Get Your Gun (Little Jake) Porthouse Theater; Fiddler on the Roof (Bielke) Beck Center for the Arts; I Pagliacci (children’s chorus) Opera Cleveland, The Nerd (Thor) Weathervane Community Theater; Children of Eden (young Abel/dove) TrueNorth; Les Miserables (Young Epinone) and The Music Man (Gracie Shinn) Fairmount Arts Conservatory. Cameron has also appeared in five short films (Flight to India, Voyage to Russia, Lucky Duck, Death of a Salesman and Bully on Elm Street). When Cameron is not on stage, she studies dance (ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical) and takes piano and clarinet lessons. She is also very active in school and participates in many groups: chess club, newspaper club, band and Rachel’s Challenge. She is very grateful to Great Lakes Theater (Sara Bruner and staff) for the opportunity to share her holiday season with a fabulous cast and her sisters.

Mackenzie Dale Durken Skate Girl/Ensemble, A Christmas Carol Three seasons at Great Lakes Theater Mackenzie is honored and delighted to be returning for a third season, reprising her role as Skate Girl/Ensemble with the Great Lakes Theater production of A Christmas Carol. She is an 11-year-old sixth-grader at Willetts Middle School in Brunswick. She is active in school, participating in band (clarinet) and ChainLinks/Kiwanis kids. Mackenzie has also appeared in Go West! (Peter Cooper/Mountain Man) for Walter Kidder Elementary. Other activities include reading, Girl Scouts (junior), piano, travel soccer and karate. She has recently run two 5k’s and she is a seasoned traveler, her most current trip having been to London. Mackenzie also enjoys spending time with her older sister Kaylee and younger brother Shaun. She is thankful to all her family, friends and teachers for their love, support and encouragement. Mackenzie is extremely grateful to have this opportunity to be part of A Christmas Carol once again this holiday season!
