erry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! It’s the time of year where we should all be a little more cheerful, be a little more forgiving and patient, and be a little more giving. This is a very special time when we truly think of the traditions of Christmas. No matter where you are from coast to coast, it’s the family traditions that make the most out of this time of year. It’s also the time to create new traditions as families grow. One of my favorite memories is after our family Christmas, we would go to our next door neighbor’s house and celebrate even more. We would exchange gifts and then race outside, most of the times still in our pj’s, just to play with each others gifts and be children enjoying what we believed to be the best time of the year. I still look forward to seeing all the old Christmas TV short movies, like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, and Scrooged with Bill Murray, which is one of my favorites. It is a time to stop and just take a moment to enjoy family and those close to you. This holiday season, it is our New Year’s wish to all our readers that your families are safe, no matter what part of the world they may be this time of year. We wish the men and ladies of our armed services protection from any harm, and on the 25th, people across the world can share in remembering the birth of Baby Jesus. We want to wish everyone a prosperous New Year filled with opportunity, security, and the ability to pursue your dreams with great rewards and support. I would also like to wish the crew of Grease Inc and Garage71 the BEST year we can make in 2016! We look forward to seeing everyone out at the Hard Rock Cafe on December 13th. This is a night of celebration and cheer! The doors open at 7PM with a visit from Santa himself! You can check out more details on the featured ad in Grease Inc. and on-line at www.garage71.com

Thunder Tower Harley-Davidson Biker Build Off

I

f you weren’t at Thunder Tower Harley in Morrow, GA on September 5th, you missed a great event. The sun was out in full force pushing the temperature into the 80’s, creating the perfect day for this first annual Custom Bike Build-off! The dealership was buzzing with activity offering a very festive atmosphere with a couple thousand bikers, dozens of vendors, a variety of Atlanta’s best food trucks, and even a sound system competition. The Championship-style belt and first place bragging rights went to Hustler of the West Side Riders MC.

Thunder Tower Harley supplied each of the selected custom shops with a 2012 Harley Road King Police Edition as the base for the build.

Thunder Tower Harley-Davidson Biker Build Off

Thunder Tower Harley supplied each of the selected custom shops with a 2012 Harley Road King Police Edition as the base for the build. They were also given $6,000 credit in the Thunder Tower parts department to order anything they needed. Each shop was busy spending 7 weeks transforming these rather boring former Atlanta Police bikes into creative works of rolling art.

Atlanta Custom Baggers stepped in for another shop and built their bike in only 9 days!

When the votes were tallied, Unknown Customs took home the trophy and cash prize for Best Bike. When the votes were tallied, Unknown Customs took home the trophy and cash prize for Best Bike. Twin Pistons Customs, RSL Customz, and Atlanta Custom Baggers also did a fantastic job creating unique and beautiful custom bikes. The crew at Thunder Tower even put together a custom bike that was stripped down, clean, and simply cool. To keep things fair, it wasn’t included in the “best bike” voting. It is worth noting the crew from Atlanta Custom Baggers stepped in for another shop and built their bike in only 9 days!

Before the day was over and everyone rode away, Clarence Moon, a sales rep at Thunder Tower Harley Davidson, the driving force behind this event, along with the crew at Thunder Tower, were already talking about plans for making the 2nd annual Bike Build-Off event bigger and better. If you missed it in 2015, don’t miss what is promised to be an even more spectacular event in 2016!

015 has been a very transitional year when comparing itself to years past. Through the decades, it is almost as monumental occurrences happen less frequent because their impact needs to be that much greater. We have placed higher standards and expectations in relation to where we have been and hopes of achieving in the future. With these expectations though we need to always remember the past. Some past we never want to repeat, and others become memories as we transition through life.

As we continue to look back over 2015, we see a large emphasis on a political race, that for the most part, the people of this country are over! It’s not that we are over our country, but we are over the politics in Washington. This we will be a major focus throughout all of 2016, who will be the next American President. Social media continues to provide us with quick minute by minute updates, much of which we don’t need to know about your drama ridden lives, but how else has it impacted the world? The terror group, ISIS, using social media to display horrific images

GREASE INC. MAGAZINE | greaseinc.com | DECEMBER 2015

of unthinkable acts of terror. The release of names associated members of congress and people holding high positions of authority depicted as having relations with the KKK. Is this how social media was intended? Only time will continue to reveal just how this form of communication can impact our lives. Positive or Negative. We close the year with hope. Hope that in 2016, we continue to grow as a community and as a kulture. Our

lifestyle as we see it, is one of the most inspirational and creative sub-kultures existing. We believe our music can move us. We believe that the wind blowing in our face moves our soul and helps us release some of daily stresses. We believe in brotherhood. We believe in our country and the values it has been established with. We look forward to an amazing new year. We will live through the slogan #iamkustomkulture in 2016!

n this day and age, it seems it is getting harder and harder to find people willing to give simply out of the kindness of their hearts, and out of true connection, appreciation, and dedication to their local communities. Furthermore, it becomes even harder to find those who do all of this with absolutely no monetary compensation, and do so only because they give a damn. 37

This, however, is not the story of the Bearded Sinners… The Bearded Sinners Beard Club is a true-toits-roots organization; a group of bearded men who work hard and strive every single day to make a lasting and progressive impact on their local communities. These facial-hair-bearing, tattoo adorning, rough-around-the edges members of society

prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that looks can be deceiving, and that a man should be judged by his heart and intentions, rather than his appearance in society. This Bearded Sinners, hailing from all over the United States, illustrate and illuminate the true meaning of charity… In Georgia, the Bearded Sinners put on several events for disabled veterans, host a Fuck Cancer

event to directly benefit a person battling cancer, host a birthday party every month for the children at 7 Bridges to Recovery, collect warm weather essentials in their yearly Fuck The Cold drive, go out in known homeless areas to feed the homeless, as well as adopt a family for

both Thanksgiving and Christmas to bring cheer and joy to underprivileged families. In Washington, the Bearded Sinners serve every month in local soup kitchens, worked diligently to collect and distribute donations and aid to the fire victims in Chelan, Washington, and organized and

hosted a concert to benefit the Toys for Tots organization. In Arizona, the Bearded Sinners organize coat and blanket drives for the needy, participate in canned food drives to help stock local food pantries, assist in collecting donations to help the homeless in their communities, raised over $2000 to help one of their own brothers stricken with kidney failure, and raised over $1500 dollars to help support a local school for children with autism. In South Carolina, the Bearded Sinners organized a toy drive to benefit a local children’s hospital and worked with their local community to help arrange and send care packages to our soldiers deployed overseas. In Wyoming, the Bearded Sinners hosted a raffle with its proceeds going directly to benefit a local family of a man killed in a motorcycle accident, assisted a needy mother in finding housing, as well as paying three months’ rent after she tragically lost her daughter, and work monthly at a homeless shelter to cook hot meals for its patrons. In Western Washington, the Bearded Sinners participate in a weekly beach cleanup, coordinated an event to raise the funds to purchase a vehicle to be
