Former NFL Players NFL STRIKE PLAYERS 1973-78: Frank Grant CSU-Pueblo Receiver (1968-71) • Drafted by Washington Redskins in 1972 (13th round). Played with Washington from 1973-78 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1978. Earned Second-Team All-NFC honors from the UPI in 1976.

1984-89: Herman Heard CSU-Pueblo Running Back (1982-83) • Drafted by Kansas City Chiefs in 1984 (3rd round). Played with Kansas City from 1984-89. Started 49 games over six seasons, playing in one playoff game (1986). Played with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL in 1991
