No. Name 18 Shelby Stinnett 45 Jordyn Fisherback
Class FR FR
• Janele Robinson and Caty Jutson return as the lone veterans in the circle. Both battled through up-and-down seasons in 2010 and will look to rebound and step into leadership roles with the loss of Lindsey Vander Lugt who graduated. • Freshman Jordyn Fisherback will be handed the ball early on and will be a major factor in the circle. She is a nice complement to Robinson’s speed and Jutson’s movement

The Blue Raider coaching staff welcomes two new assistant coaches with the signing of pitching coach Megan Rhodes Smith and defensive specialist Kassie Stanfill. Both Smith and Stanfill have championship pedigrees from their playing days at Tennessee and Louisville. They are expected to bring this winning attitude to Murfreesboro. “It was an extensive process, but I am relieved to have two outstanding assistant coaches to help continue the growth of MT softball,” said head coach Sue Nevar.
No. Name Class 14 Kelsey Woodruff JR
• Natalie Ysais returns as the team’s top power hitter and the rock behind the plate. As a sophomore, Ysais led the team with 27 RBIs and five home runs. • Kelsey Woodruff is expected to help share the load behind the plate. Woodruff and Ysais’ ability at the plate make them front-runners for the DP position when they do not start at catcher. • Abbey Sanders will serve primarily in a backup role and pinch hitter.
The staff has worked tirelessly bringing in the right talent to help continue the growth of a young, but talented squad. After finishing sixth at the 2010 Sun Belt tournament, Nevar and the staff will be emphasizing the importance of each and every game as they build and gain momentum for the SBC Championships.
