Camp is the Place for Girls to Grow

Half-Week, Full-Week and Longer Sessions Available!

Half-week programs are available for all ages, even Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors. These programs are scheduled early in the season to allow girls the chance to try camp and attend again later in the summer. Resident Camp Information Changes

Camp is a Place Where a Girl Will:

• play games • feel good about herself • write a letter • live without TVs and computers • discover her potential • and have the time of her life!

The theme of the week covers a majority of the activities. Other activities include swimming, playing games, cookouts and crafts. Girl Scout resident camp programs are for all girls and are a terrific value. Her camp fee covers: • Lodging for six days and five nights at camp; • A wide variety of camp programming, supervised by our trained staff; • Staffing that includes camp counselors, a health supervisor, waterfront staff, program staff, and our camp director; • Meals prepared by our food service staff, featuring fresh fruits and vegetables; accommodations can be made for girls with special diets, with advance notice!

Resident camp program includes activites from the program’s theme, swimming, playing games, outdoor skills, nature and crafts. Together with other girls, they will choose from a variety of camp favorites to add to their camp experience

Arrivals and Departure

Check in is from 1:30 – 3 p.m. Sunday (Wednesday for some half-week sessions). Please do not arrive before 1:15 p.m. as camp staff members will be doing final preparation for camper arrivals. Check out is on Friday evening (Tuesday for some half-week sessions). A closing ceremony that parents are welcome to attend begins at 7 p.m., with camper dismissal about 7:30 p.m. Please do not plan on arriving earlier than 6:45 p.m. We recognize that you are excited about seeing your daughter, and that she will be looking forward to seeing you. However, girls are expected to remain with their units until dismissal so we ask that you do not approach them until that time. There are designated areas for parents to wait for the closing ceremony to begin. Upon dismissal a photo ID will be required to ensure that we are releasing girls safely into the care of their parents/ guardians.
