Gina ia a beautiful, vivacious singer who can captivate and relate to audiences with the power and range of her voice that has won her worldwide praise. She has performed at major venues/hotels/ cruise ships all over the world and included in her repertoire are the songs of: Shirley Bassey, Elkie Brooks, Whitney Houston, Gladys Knight, Diana Ross and other Motown favourites. THIS WEEK’S focus zooms in on Carlita, a dynamic female vocalist who has been working on the Costa Blanca for a little over 2 years, during which time she has performed at many hotels and venues including the Ambassador Playa Hotel, the Cumberland Bar, Villasol and the Two Seals to name but a few. Whilst she is predominantly over here in Benidorm, she still makes the trip back to the UK frequently to perform by popular demand at many holiday camps, clubs and army functions and also as a vocalist with the Grenadier Guards Dance Band. Her repertoire is varied as you will hear songs from the 1960s to present day by recording artists such as Alison Moyet, Tom Jones, The Drifters and Bette Midler as the show goes on. Her main employment in the UK was for the NHS where she was Commissioning Manager for a Primary Care Trust. She holds a Master’s Degree from Warwick University in Business Studies in addition to a Black Belt in Karate. Carlita can be seen most nights in The Cumberland Bar,
where she regularly sings and hosts the evening’s entertainment and on Saturday at the Malibu Bar on Calle Berlin in the Rincon area of Benidorm. For further information or to book Carlita, call her on 685 550 106.
