UIS drove the strategy for stabilization, and steered securing buy-in and funding for the effort. Chart of Ac c ount s UIS worked with customers across Georgetown to consolidate 12,000 accounting codes to 2,000. This consolidation was the first phase of modernizing Georgetown’s financial management systems. Georg etow n Unive r s i t y M o b i le App P lat fo r m UIS established an open source mobile application platform for Georgetown.
