How to get to Higham Higham Hall is on the northern edge of the Lake District, between Cockermouth (3 miles) and Keswick (8 miles), a mile from Bassenthwaite Lake. CAR: From Penrith (M6, J40) or Keswick, follow the A66, after Bassenthwaite Lake turn right… From Cockermouth, follow the A66 for 3 miles, turn left … … at the B5291 signposted Dubwath/Castle Inn. Higham Hall is signposted after turn-off. Continue 500m to the junction, turn right, go 500m and turn left 500m up the hill. From Carlisle (A595), turn left at Bothel (A591) and turn right onto B5291 at Castle Inn. After Ouse Bridge bear sharp right, take 2nd road on the right 500m up the hill. An afternoon of yoga practices that help to balance the energies of the spring season: shrug off the inertia and damp cold days of winter with a series of strengthening, enlivening & cleansing asana; breathing, relaxation & mindfulness meditation practices that clear & balance the mind. Design and create your own stained glass window, and gain a deeper appreciation of stained glass windows. Be guided in all aspects of this fascinating craft and delve a little into its history. No experience needed.

Day Courses: Full fee on booking. £25 refundable/transferable up to 1 month before. Excludes Concerts and “& TEA" events. Long Courses: £50 deposit (non-refundable/ transferable) with balance due 1 month before course. As appropriate, refreshments, 2 course lunch and 3 course dinner are all included. Residential fees also include standard accommodation & breakfast. Materials vary with course, supplied by Tutor. Course Programmes on request and on booking. We offer optional Cancellation Protection: £5 per night when paying balance.
