She is the daughter of Mareda Stowell of Stevens Point and the late Glenn Stowell. His parents are Rod and Jean Peronto of Madison. Lenze is employed by the Stevens Point Public School District. Peronto is employed by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. A Nov. 13, 2010, wedding is planned. Lenze-Peronto Nichole Weller and Matt Swentkofske, both of Chicago, are engaged to be married. She is the daughter of Terri and Michael Jennings of Wisconsin Rapids. His parents are Eleanor Swentkofske of Elm Grove and the late Marvin Swentkofske. The bride-to-be earned bachelor's degrees in psychology and sociology and a criminal justice certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is employed by Grosvenor Capital Management, L.P. Her fiance earned a bachelor's degree in history from the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts. He is employed as the Intergovernmental Affairs Coordinator for the city of Evanston. A November 2010 wedding is planned. Weller-Swentkofske Brittany C. Ryun and Joshua Taylor, both of Denton, Texas, are engaged to be married. She is the daughter of David and Christine Ryun of Wisconsin Rapids. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Turner of El Paso, Texas. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Lincoln High School and is enrolled at Ashford University. She is employed by Taco Bell. Her fiance, a graduate of JM Hanks High School in El Paso, is employed by Exxon. A Dec. 4, 2010, wedding is planned. Ryun-Taylor Jenny Yauch and Bryan Bula, both of Wisconsin Rapids, are engaged to be married. She is the daughter of John and Judy Yauch of Plover. His parents are Gene and Sandy Bula of Plainfield, and the late Cynthia Smiley. Yauch graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in communication and business administration. She is employed at RoomPro Technologies/ Projection Guys in Wisconsin Rapids. Bula graduated from Tri-County High School in 1998 and served in the Air Force for 10 years. He is employed at the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Oxford. A Dec. 31, 2010, wedding is planned. Yauch-Bula Abby Stroik and Scot Kurz, both of Marathon, are engaged to be married. She is the daughter of Brian and Diane Stroik of Stevens Point. His parents are Ken and Deb Kurz of Vesper. The bride-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2009 and is employed by Liberty Mutual Group. Her fiance earned an associate degree in instrumentation from Mid-State Technical College in 2008 and is employed by WE Energies. A Sept. 10, 2011, wedding is planned. Marie Rezin was born on October 16, 1920. To celebrate the milestone of her 90th birthday, Marie's children hosted a party in her honor on August 14 at the Saratoga Town Hall. Over one hundred twenty-five friends and relatives attended. Guests included Marie's four children, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Marie's children are Marlene Stys of Lewisville, Texas, Janet (Jim) Eichsteadt of Irvine, California, Sandra (Bob) Harrison of Bloomington, Indiana, and Chris (Lisa) Rezin of Cranmoor, Wisconsin. Born in the town of Sigel, Marie married Earl Rezin in 1941. Together they built their cranberry marsh in Cranmoor, where they raised their family. Since Earl's death in 2006, Marie has resided at the Retirement Community of Nekoosa. Gabrielle & Josiah Wicks Gabrielle Elizabeth Joy Schmidt and Josiah William Wicks were united in marriage on July 24, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church in Wisconsin Rapids. The Rev. Stephen Steinmetz performed the 1:30 p.m. 1920s style ceremony with the groom's father giving the charge. Parents of the couple are David and Linda Schmidt of Nekoosa, and Pastor William and Faye Wicks of Morinville, Alberta, Canada. Eva North, Gabrielle's sister, served as matron of honor. Taylor McManigell, Josiah's friend, was best man. Bridesmaids were Heather Sairs, Nekoosa, Gabrielle's sister; Amanda Clapp, Utah, Gabrielle's friend; and Crystalina Henry, St. Albert, Alberta, Josiah's sister. Groomsmen were Elijah Wicks, Clearwater, British Columbia, Josiah's brother, and Gabrielle's brothers Samuel Schmidt and Chad Schmidt, both of Nekoosa. Mikayla Olds and Marisa Schmidt, both of Nekoosa, nieces of the bride, served as junior bridesmaids. The bridesmaids walked down the aisle to Handel's "Comfort Ye" performed on the violin by Jonathan Karbowski and accompanied on the piano by Matthew Wicks. Alliah Olds, Nekoossa, Gabrielle's niece, was miniature bride. Ryder Schmidt, Stevens Point, Gabrielle's nephew, was miniature groom. Zachary Fischer, Crivitz, a friend of the bride and groom, was ring bearer. Flower girls were Mariah Schmidt, Paige Onstad, both of Nekoosa, Cassidy Sairs and Daylin Sairs, both of Wiconsin Rapids, who are all nieces of the bride; and Samantha Stormoen, of Port Edwards, who is a friend of the bride. They walked down the aisle to the piano accompaniment of "Prelude in C Major" by Bach. The bride and her father's processional was "Valse Sentimentale." Pianist for the ceremony was Matthew Wicks, Morinville, Alberta, brother of the groom. Vocal music was provided by Julie Stoffel, who sang "Always," by Irving Berlin. Amanda Clapp and Ben Stevens sang "Household of Faith," by John Rosasco. David Schmidt sang "Cinderella," by Steven Curtis Chapman. "Together Always" was sung by Josiah and Gabrielle with Eva North accompanying on the piano. A picnic style hors d'oeuvres reception, catered by Sue Weigand and friends, was held at the church. Chad Schmidt chauffeured the bridal couple in his 1926 Dodge Brothers Sedan. A garden dinner after the Friday evening rehearsal was provided by William and Faye Wicks and hosted by Jeremy and Leslie Schmidt with Tony and Erica Schmidt. Gabrielle is a 2007 graduate of Nekoosa High School. Josiah is a 2005 HomeRun Education Graduate. They both are full time students attending Northland International University in Dunbar, Wisc.; Josiah majoring in Biblical Counseling and Gabrielle majoring in Voice Pedagogy. Donald and Hazel were married on Oct. 5, 1940, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. They have three children: Susan Bobrowski of Wisconsin Rapids, Daniel (Calene) Pagel of Minocqua, and Cynthia (William) Joosten of Rudolph.
