Do you already know how to use a computer but have a few questions, need some practice, want to fill in the gaps in your knowledge or set up an email account? Drop in at the computer lab and benefit from some library staff expertise. Note: The library will be closed February 11 and April 1.

eBooks and eReaders • Maple Ridge Public Library Wednesday, Jan 23, 7 pm – 8:30 pm Are you overwhelmed by the variety of eReaders available or confused about how they work with library eBooks? Then this information session is for you! Stop by the library to learn how eReaders work and how to download free library books.

Introduction to Microsoft Word • Maple Ridge Public Library Thursday, Jan 24, 2 pm – 3 pm Get started with Microsoft Word! Learn how to create new documents and edit existing ones. Bring your questions and have them answered. Registration begins January 3.

Computer Basics is a gentle introduction to the computer. Over three consecutive weeks, students will learn fundamental skills, including how to turn a computer on and off, use a mouse, master the keyboard and more. Registration begins January 3.

Fun With the Internet • Maple Ridge Public Library Wednesdays, Mar 6 – Mar 20, 7 pm – 8 pm Come to the library and have some fun on the Web. Check out interesting websites, learn how to find pictures and more in this information-packed class. Each session runs over three consecutive weeks. Registration begins January 3.

Bring those new gadgets (cell phones, cameras, eReaders, laptops, etc.) and let the technically gifted members of the Student Library Council explain how they work and what they do.
