MILLS HK-Series How do they work?
HK are used for fine grinding of wood chips and paper. The rapid rotation, fixed hammers and the integrated fan enable a high productivity obtaining homogeneous fractions of wood of up to 1 mm. One of the highlighted features of the HK mills, is the quality of the final fraction obtained, with a very accurate granularity and with a minimum amount of dust. IN DETAIL The HK-Air mill system integrates an internal fan to its shredding system, which makes the grinding system more efficient with a more homogeneous result, in addition to allowing us to convey pneumatically material obviating the need for an additional fan. Since 1945, we have manufactured shredders, conveyors and fans for the timber industry in Sundsvall, Sweden. Sundsvall is in the middle of Swedish, an important centre for the timber and paper industry since the nineteenth century. Energy consumption per capita in Sundsvall, is three times higher than in the rest of Sweden (90,000 kWh / inhab.), which shows the existing industrial power. Bioenergy nationwide, according to SVEBIO (Swedish Bioenergy Association), corresponds to a third of total energy consumption.
