Holiday Tea and Fashion Show
Senior Mini-Bowling League
Do some holiday shopping without fighting the traffic and crowds. Fashions by Taylor Maries are for ladies in every size from petite to plus sizes. Everyone will enjoy tea and holiday sweets before the fashion show. After the fashion show, there will be plenty of time to shop, try items on and take them home that day! All fashion proceeds benefit the Friendly Center Club. Deadline to register is Nov. 26. (JHP)
Two-pound bowling balls are used in this new senior mini-bowling league. Cost includes two games, lunch and beverages. The fee is due upon check-in at the site on league days. For information, call Jennifer at Prisco at 630-859-8606. The league plays on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. No registration necessary; just show up. (JHP) Age

Valentine’s Dinner Dance
Senior Bean Bag Baseball
Treat your sweetheart to a special Valentine night featuring music by Edizon Dayao, sponsored by Provena McAuley Manor. A lovely catered dinner will be served from 5 to 6 p.m., and dancing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. We will hold drawings for some nice prizes throughout the evening. Deadline to register is Feb. 1. (JHP)
Love baseball but don’t want to run the bases? Join this new Senior Bean Bag Baseball team, where players toss beanbags through holes cut into plywood (like other beanbag games) and labeled “single,” “home run,” etc. It’s easy and fun to play. The Park District challenges various local teams. (JHP)
