A Quest to Feel Our Best Everyone has areas in which they want to improve, such as eating healthier or being more active. To make a change in eating and physical activity habits, taking that first step is key. Participants will learn how to create a lifestyle that supports nutritious eating and practical tips to promote healthy lifestyles for themselves and their families. (KB)

Dog Obedience This series of dog obedience classes will teach your dog good manners and valuable skills to be a well-rounded pet. Bring your dog in a regular collar (no choke, prong or shock collars) and a regular leash (not a retractable). Also bring lots of dog treats and the dog’s food bowl, with meal, if you are taking the Feeding Frenzy course. We will also need a copy of the dog’s vet records showing that its vaccinations are up-to-date. (KB)

Participants will learn about color enhancement and what colors are best suited for their appearance. Every person has a season, and this analysis will reveal what season participants are and what makeup best complements that season. Basic Dog Obedience: Teaches dogs to be good family companions as well as learning basic commands. No class March 29. Jumping for Joy: Teaches dogs how to keep their four paws on the floor. Calling All Dogs: Teaches to come when called, a valuable tool if a dog accidentally gets loose or runs out the door. Feeding Frenzy: Teaches a dog good manners while using the feeding time as training time.

Mother’s Day Spa Those looking for that special gift for that special mom can treat her to total relaxation at the Spa Escape. This relaxing spa evening includes a mini facial, foot treatment, hand and lip facials and de-stressing techniques to relieve tension that can also be done at home. Spa visitors should wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel and washcloth. (KB) Age

You can, at the Fox Valley Park District’s only parks reserved exclusively for dogs and their owners. Every day, from dawn until dusk, dogs of all different breeds have a place where their owners take them to run, play, sniff, socialize and have a dog-gone good time.
