Texana celebrates the “Topping Off” of new campus A traditional "Topping Off" ceremony was held on at Texana Center’s West Campus in Rosenberg. This ceremony marked the completion of the first major phase of construction for the new West Campus Learning and Service Centers. The buildings, designed by Ray + Hollington Architects, feature a modern one-story Learning Center for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and a new two-story Service Center. The new campus is located on a 3-acre and is being built by Tellepsen Construction. These will be the first LEED registered buildings in Rosenberg and will be designed to meet guidelines established by the U.S. Green Building Council. When completed, the campus will serve close to 1,000 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities each year; most living in or around the Texana Center and Tellepsen Construction held a Topping Off Ceremony currently underserved areas in to mark the completion of the highest level of Texana's new West west Fort Bend County.
