The scene at last Thursday’s City Centre at Quail Valley for the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce hosted network nites was idyllic for the get together. What a beautiful facility that turned out to be and it’s worth a visit. Missouri City Mayor Allen Owen told guests that the golf course and facility were built with taxpayer approval from a referendum passed towards that end. Also spotted, Lisa Glenn and Cher Binks can tell you a thing or two. Chamber’s President Keri Schmidt and her staff, by the way, put out reminders of the upcoming Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair it organizes. It’s going on its 10th year, kicks off on April 24 and runs through April 28th wrapping up with the bistro brunch at Sugar Land Town Square. Visit fortbendchamber.com for more information.
