Photo-narrative is a community engagement methodology that helps people share their stories of strength, hope and pride. When debilitating trauma or loss impacts on communities, or achievements and events are celebrated, it can help to share those experiences with others with similar experiences of their own. Focus on Community helps connect people with their stories using photography skills and story telling. Deanna Neville, facilitator of this methodology, developed this particular style of community engagement as her work with photography in communities evolved over more than 20 years.
