A Day in the Life is a simple book about a complex building. The title comes from the body of research which prefaced the new Student Centre’s design development, and revealed the fascinating daily cycle of use, reinvention and reuse which spaces on the Belfield campus undergo. In the same spirit, this book uses time as its organising element: rhythmically visiting and revisiting spaces throughout the day to consider the unique breadth of atmospheres and human activity they will host.
