Seller Insight The local community is friendly and vibrant, with many opportunities to pursue a wide range of interests, one being its active Conservation Group. There is a primary school, with a wide choice of both state and independent schools nearby. The cottage was built in 1601 and, at one time, was the ‘off licence’ for the village. It was converted into a domestic dwelling many years ago and has always been incredibly well maintained, which was born out in the detailed survey we commissioned. We have enhanced many aspects of the cottage, including the installation of a new kitchen and a new en suite upstairs. It is a brilliant home in which to live, with the enormous advantage of being cool during the summer months and warm and cosy in wintertime. Christmas spent here is always special, with the cottage responding to its adornment of garlands.
