You can’t dance unless you get the beat and your writing won’t flow unless is has rhythm. The key to any story, as in any song, is a sense of rhythm and flow. Plot and pacing are critical to providing readers with a backbeat, if you will, to drive the story. You’ll learn how to consciously incorporate those elements into your writing.

No one likes to argue, but it makes for great drama. The world turns not on peace and love, but on conflict. In this session, you’ll learn how to make your work more interesting by constructing and controlling juxtaposition, contrapuntal elements, appositives, and other factors of discord and tension.
