• The Eagles earned their 300th program victory against Jacksonville on Thursday. The team is 305-63 all time with each win under the direction of Smesko. • The Eagles have produced six games with fewer than 10 turnovers.

VARIETY HIGHS AND LOWS AND EVEN HIGHER The last two weeks have been filled with ups and downs as the Eagles held UNF to just 34 points on Jan. 25 for the lowest opponent point total since last season’s opener. The Green & Blue followed with a season-high 85 points at Lipscomb but scored just 43 - an all-time program low - at Northern Kentucky on Feb. 1. FGCU bounced back with 70 points at ETSU last Thursday before adding 76 at USC Upstate. The Eagles again produced the strongest offensive performance of the season with 99 points against Mercer on Thursday.

MIGHTY NINE We’ve seen two new single-game program records set this season in Sarah Hansen’s nine steals and Whitney Knight’s nine blocks.

Head Coach Karl Smesko has used 185 different variations of players on the court this season. The team’s most efficient lineup (at +39) has been the previous starting five of Atwater, Dunson, Haas, Hansen & Knight, while Dunson, Cobb, Haas, Hansen & Knight sit at +36 and Atwater, Cobb, Haas, Hansen & Knight produce a ranking of +30 with the most minutes player together & the most points scored at 248.

AWAY FOR THE HOLIDAYS The Hardwood Tournament of Hope marked the fourth-consecutive year the Eagles have traveled for a specialty tournament. With trips to Mexico, Hawaii and the Virgin Islands, the Green and Blue holds a record of 6-5 in the last four seasons.

ATLANTIC SUN ACTION

The Green & Blue is 9-3 all time in season opening contests. The team holds an impressive record of 11-1 in all-time home openers with just one loss at the hands of Florida State (2007).

The Eagles hold the best record among all A-Sun teams in the recent history by an impressive mark. FGCU is 111-13 all time in conference play.
