London 2014 Morden Hall Park A park for all seasons... a place for all people London’s gateway to the countryside With 125 acres of beautiful parkland and meadows to explore, Morden Hall Park is a tranquil hideaway in South London. Follow the River Wandle as it meanders through the heart of the park and under the ornate bridges, bypassing the handsome eighteenth century Morden Hall. The atmospheric wetlands provide a natural haven for an abundance of wildlife all year round, whilst the park’s rose garden springs to life over the summer months. Visit our renovated 19th century Stable Yard where you will find our ever-popular second hand bookshop, ice cream parlour and Livinggreen Visitor Centre complete with interactive displays, models and changing exhibitions. For our younger explorers we have a natural play area where you can fly through the air on the zip wire before building your very own secret den in the woods. Events run throughout the year from family fun days and activities, through to summer theatre and even an outdoor cinema nestled amongst the fragrant and vibrant roses. ‘In each and every season, Morden Hall Park is yours to explore’ No visit would be complete without popping into our café, where you can choose from a range of fresh seasonal dishes and homemade cakes made from locally sourced produce. Why not treat yourself to a gift from our National Trust shop next door.
