Justin Bieber pleaded guilty Wednesday to misdemeanor charges of careless driving and resisting arrest after his January arrest in Miami Beach following what police initially called an illegal street drag race. The 20-year-old’s plea deal with prosecutors, detailed at a court hearing, includes a 12-hour anger management course, a $50,000 charitable contribution and a $500 fine. The deal allows Bieber to avoid a driving under the influence conviction. The pop singer’s defense attorney said Bieber, who was not present at the hearing, had already given the $50,000 to a local children’s charity. (AP)

Ciara has ended her engagement with rapper Future, according to Us Weekly. Sources told the magazine that he cheated on Ciara while he was on tour. Another source said Ciara is “devastated,” adding that she is focusing now on their threemonth-old son, Future Zahir Wilburn. Future and Ciara had been engaged since October 2013. (EXPRESS)

Kim Kardashian told the Associated Press how her daughter, North, has made her bolder. “I speak my mind a little bit more after I’ve had our daughter,” she said. “I don’t know if it’s a combination of being married to [Kanye West,] someone that’s super honest and open and says whatever he wants … or just not having time really for anything else but the truth.” (EXPRESS)
