Nation Nevada rancher’s racist remarks bring immediate rebuke Las Vegas A Nevada rancher who has become a conservative folk hero for resisting the federal government’s attempts to round up his cattle faced sharp criticism Thursday for racist comments published in a New York Times article. Politicians from around the country who had rallied to Cliven Bundy’s defense in recent weeks denounced the comments and distanced themselves from the rancher. The Bundy family issued a statement saying Bundy is a “good man,
he loves all people, he is not a racist man.” But politicians who had defended Bundy quickly issued statements condemning him. “His remarks on race are offensive, and I wholeheartedly disagree with him,” said Sen. Rand Paul, once a vocal supporter of Bundy. Nevada Republican Sen. Dean Heller, who last week called Bundy defenders “patriots” for their stand against the government, “completely disagrees with Mr. Bundy’s appalling and racist statements,” said his spokeswoman, Chandler Smith. Inside a home in the Argentine river town of San Lorenzo, a phone rang. For the next 10 minutes, an ordinary Argentine woman says she spoke to Pope Francis — and that their discussion may signal a profound change for millions of Catholics across the world. The Vatican on Thursday confirmed that the call happened but seemed anxious to play down its significance. At the very least, Jaqui Lisbona says her own life has changed. Her story begins with a problem. Lisbona loved her civil-law husband. She had been with him for 19 years. They had two children together. They considered themselves staunch Catholics and prayed every night. But her husband, Julio Sabetta, had previously been divorced — a fact that, according to church teachings, would restrict him and possibly even her from receiving Communion. Lisbona didn’t know

Rules Waived for Popes on Road to Sainthood On Sunday at a Mass in St. Peter’s Square, Pope Francis will declare Pope John XXIII and Pope John Paul II as saints in a historic double canonization. More than a million people are expected to witness the event. John XXIII — pope from 1958 to 1963 and best known for convening Vatican II, the first ecumenical council in a century that, among other things, allowed for the use of the vernacular rather than Latin at Mass — was beatified in 2000 after the Vatican certified that the healing of an Italian nun suffering from a gastric hemorrhage was miraculous. Pope Francis, very much a spiritual son of John, waived the Vatican rule requiring a second miracle so that John could be canonized alongside John Paul. “He was courageous. A good country priest, with a great sense of humor and great holiness,” Pope Francis told reporters last summer when asked about John. “He was one of the greats.”
John Paul II’s record sprint to sainthood started during his 2005 funeral Mass, when chants of “Santo Subito” or “Sainthood Now” erupted from the crowd. Bowing to the calls, Pope Benedict XVI waived the typical five-year waiting period before a saintly investigation can begin and allowed the process to start just weeks after his death. John Paul — who was pope for a quarter century — was beatified in 2011 after the Vatican certified that a French nun suffering from Parkinson’s disease was miraculously healed after she prayed to him. had to wonder: Were my neuroses holding me back (or, at least, sending me on absurd and unnecessary intermodal journeys)? And if left unchecked, could this situation turn dangerous? My self-imposed therapy started a fe w mont h s a go with weekend excursions to buy groceries. The roads aren’t that busy, I don’t have to travel all that far, and I get to reward myself with bulk purchases. (On foot, I would have to just say no to a case of coconut water.) Despite a few hairy situations in parking lots, I became comfortable with the routine quickly. It was time to up my game by tackling rush hour traffic, darkness and what we native Marylanders consider the final frontier: Virginia. What I realized — even without paying someone else to reassure me — is that I’m a pretty decent driver. Other folks on the road might say I’m too slow, but I prefer to think of myself as “law-abiding.” I’m incredibly alert. And although one of the things about driving that made me a nervous wreck was the specter of parallel parking, it turns out that I’ve retained that particular bit of muscle memory from my driver’s license test more than 15 years ago. More progress lies ahead. I’m still overly anxious about inclement weather and highways, particularly the Beltway. But I’m pleased with my progress so far, and I couldn’t be happier about my reaction to being stuck in insane gridlock on a recent gorgeous Saturday. The rush of emotion I felt wasn’t fear. It was frustration. And that seems like a perfectly healthy way to think about driving.

Silver Line Moves Toward Summer Opening Washington After seven months of delays and tens of millions in cost overruns, there is finally some good news: Passengers could be boarding Metro Silver Line trains this summer. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority and Metro announced Thursday that they have
reached an agreement that will allow MWAA additional time to complete its work on the $5.6 billion rail line even after the project is turned over to the transit authority. The agreement means there won’t be the speedy turnover many had hoped for, but it provides a clear outline for what needs to be done to get the new rail line up and running. “It is a big step forward,” said Pat Nowakowski, the executive director of the Silver Line project, who announced last week that he
was resigning to take a job with another transportation agency. Metro General Manager Richard Sarles said if the transit agency waited until MWAA completed all the necessary work before taking custody of the project, passenger service likely wouldn’t begin until late in the year. Service originally was slated to begin in December 2013. There are a number of critical issues MWAA must address before Metro takes possession of the line, Sarles said. Sarles said Metro likely would take control of the Silver

Few are taught to write lines of code, and few take classes that delve into the workings of the Internet or explain how to create an app. In a world that went digital long ago, computer science is not a staple of U.S. education, and some schools do not even offer a course on the subject, including 10 of 27 high schools in Virginia’s Fairfax County and six of 25 in Maryland’s Montgomery County. Many parents mistake the computers they see in schools — and the seeming ease with which teenagers manage their devices — as a sign of computer science understanding. “It’s shocking how little there is,” said Rebecca Dovi, who has taught computer science for 17 years in Virginia schools. It’s been a long time since Washington’s NBA team was up 2-0 in a playoff series, so it’s understandable if you’re a little reluctant to buy into this Wizards squad. The Wizards’ talented backcourt of 23-year-old John Wall and 20-year-old Bradley Beal garners most of the national attention — and rightfully so — but these youngsters are surrounded by proven veterans. Trevor Ariza, Nene and Marcin Gortat — the Wizards’ starting frontcourt — have played in a combined 137 playoff games. So while the Wizards’ big-name stars are postseason newbies, this team has enough savvy veterans to guide it through the playoffs.
If the Wizards were in the Western Conference, they wouldn’t have made the playoffs. But in the East, they’re playing like one of the best teams. If Washington gets past the Bulls, it will face the winner of the PacersHawks series. Indiana is the top seed, but the Pacers lost 13 of their last 26 regularseason games. Meanwhile, the Hawks are the only playoff team with a losing record. A possible matchup against the defending champion Heat wouldn’t happen until the conference finals.
The Wizards have multiple scoring options, so teams aren’t able to focus on stopping just one guy. Washington’s entire starting lineup has averaged double digits in the first two playoffs games. With Nene in the post, Beal on the perimeter and Wall facilitating the offense, Washington can score in different ways. Even their bench — led by Andre Miller, Martell Webster and Trevor Booker — is capable of carrying the scoring load for short stretches.
Washington has been home to a lot of knuckleheads. But Andray Blatche, Nick Young, JaVale McGee and Gilbert Arenas are gone. What’s left is a group that’s learned to play as a team. “I think we did a great job staying calm and composed,” Wall told reporters after the Wizards’ Game 2 victory. “Early in the season, we would get rattled and guys would try to make plays one-on-one on their own. Tonight, we trusted in our offense like we’ve been doing.”
Randy Wittman isn’t considered a top-tier coach, but he knows his team. In Game 2, he made two huge in-game adjustments that led to the Wizards’ overtime win: He had Ariza switch onto Bulls guard D.J. Augustin, and he played Booker over Gortat down the stretch to match Chicago’s energy. Augustin struggled against the taller defender, and the Wizards outscored the Bulls by 10 points while Booker (nine points and eight rebounds) was on the floor.

For Nene, Mind Over Matter Wizards big man has dominated low-post battle against Bulls Wizards Nene approaches the game of basketball with a combination of skill and mysticism, so it’s no surprise that he was philosophical on the eve of Washington’s critical Game 3 against Chicago. “There are two pages torn off,” the Brazilian big man said. “We have the third page [Friday]. So it’s step by step. We have to be humble and respect them because they are very good.” One of the Wizards with playoff experience, the forward has played a major role in Washington taking a 2-0 lead over the favored
Bulls. Through the first two games of the postseason, Nene is averaging 20.5 points and 7.5 rebounds while shooting over 60 percent from the floor. And for the Wizards, their formula for success is simple — when Nene is in the lineup they are 3.7 points per 100 possessions better than their opponents this season. Even more straightforward, Washington is 32-23 with Nene in the lineup, 14-15 when he is not. “We know Nene is the X-factor to our team,” guard John Wall said after Game 2. “Coming into this series, with anybody we played, we knew we needed Nene to be there for us, and he’s stepping up big in the first two games.” After Nene came back from his knee injury, there was a thought that coach Randy Wittman would limit
his minutes in the playoffs, but that idea went out the window quickly because of Nene’s effectiveness. “We’re not worried about minutes,” Wittman said. “We’re worried about winning games.” Nene hasn’t just done his damage in the paint. He’s been able to consistently hit his jumper from the elbow, which has opened up the floor even more by forcing Chicago’s Joakim Noah out to defend. It’s a weapon in Nene’s arsenal that’s been underrated over the years. “I kind of had an idea he could [make that shot],” Wittman said. “I didn’t know the scope of what he could do, obviously.” In addition to the scoring that Nene brings, he and Marcin Gortat have also proven to be extremely adept passers, giving the Wizards another element when Chicago
crashes down on the big men. Nene knows the Bulls are gearing up to stop him, and he’s fine with that. “Each game you need to learn something — what you did good and what you did bad,” he said. “We’ve been doing that. We’ve been watching video, we’ve been talking. Everyone is very focused, very engaged on doing the right thing.” And for Nene, that’s all about giving maximum effort to make sure the Wizards close out the Bulls. A first-round series win would be a surprise nationally, but it wouldn’t surprise the thoughtful man in the middle. “It’s about hard work,” he said. “We don’t care about paper, names or what people think. In Monday’s game against the Angels, Nationals shortstop Ian Desmond darted to his left to field a hard-hit grounder from Albert Pujols in the top of the eighth inning. The ball hit Desmond’s glove and popped out, and Pujols reached first base safely. It was “a difficult error,” as Nationals manager Matt Williams put it. “He’s got to range way to the middle. And he stretched out to catch that ball,” Williams said. “If he comes up clean, he’s got a chance to throw him out.” Later that inning, Desmond committed a throwing error that allowed Raul Ibanez to reach third after the Angels slugger drove in three runs on a double to left center field. The Angels went on to win 4-2. The two errors drove Desmond’s total to eight for the season, the most in the majors entering Thursday night. “I’m not making the plays,” Desmond said. “I wish I had an answer.” Desmond isn’t the only Nationals player struggling in the field. Castillo’s easily one of the fastest players in MLS, and his speed and skill combination is a handful for the right side of any team’s defense. Franklin will be the main man tasked with controlling the 21-year-old Colombian, but he might need a bit of help from right midfielder Nick DeLeon as well.
FC Dallas is one of the league’s best teams on set pieces, and Michel’s service from free kicks and corner kicks is one of the biggest reasons why. United’s defense will have to be alert on every free kick and corner kick opportunity, or FC Dallas will likely take advantage.

“The Other Woman’s” premise — a group of wronged women confecting revenge on a caddish man — hews faithfully to Hollywood’s most cherished cake-andeat-it proposition, wherein a film can make its female characters as shrewish, ditzy and cartoonishly desperate as it wants without fear of recrimination because, no matter how bad the gals look, the guys look worse. That formula is taken to bizarre extremes in a movie that, despite presenting itself as a celebration of women’s solidarity, doesn’t seem to like women very much. “The Other Woman” stars Cameron Diaz as Carly, a no-nonsense, smokin’ hot Manhattan lawyer who discovers that her boyfriend, Mark (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), is married. When Mark’s spacey wife, Kate (Leslie Mann), finally twigs to the affair, she shows up at Carly’s office and proceeds to collapse into a bundle of blubbering sobs. They soon realize they’re not alone: Kate Upton, the generously figured swimsuit model, plays Amber, one of Mark’s many mistresses. In case you’re wondering: Yes, you’ve seen that before. Just like you’ve seen the montage (set to, what else, Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”) in which
‘Boyhood’ (JULY 11) Richard Linklater spent 12 years making this wholly unique film. It charts a fictional family over that time (Ethan Hawke and Patricia Arquette play divorced parents) and, remarkably, shows the maturation of 6-year-old Ellar Coltrane (playing their son) from boy to man.

this year is a comedy set on the French Riviera in the ’20s starring Colin Firth and Emma Stone. It promises a romantic lightness, but the question will be how audiences respond to Allen following the renewed allegation of sexual abuse.
‘The Trip to Italy’ (AUG. 15) Michael Winterbottom reconvenes Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon for impressions-heavy conversation over fine dining. As they showed in “The Trip,” sometimes that’s all a movie needs.

One refurbished studio at The Ravenel was reduced from $1,880 per month to $1,550. The lower rent and fresh look helps attract renters. “People in this area pay a lot of money, so you want them to be happy in the unit and in the building,” leasing manager Anita Hale says.
DIY Renovations? Most landlords do not allow tenants to do major work on their unit. But sometimes renters can make minor, reversible fixes without fearing a hit on their security deposit. “It makes them feel more like their own home,” says Hillary Greenwald, leasing and property manager at 1001 @ Waterfront, where residents have painted or put up temporary walls. That’s what drove Abby Greenawalt, 34, a photographer who has done freelance work for Express, to fix up her third-floor walkup five minutes from Union Station.
COMPARING RENTAL PRICES IN A LOCAL NEIGHBORHOOD
Tenant Protection The D.C. Rental Housing Act protects tenants in the case of renovations. The housing provider must give tenants a 120-day notice to vacate for the purpose of renovating the unit, according to the D.C. Department of Housing and Community Development. Tenants are also entitled to re-rent their unit after renovations are completed at the same rate, but only if the department has determined that the renovations were necessary to bring the unit into compliance with housing regulations. She’s lived there for seven years, and she says she started out small, painting a few walls. Recently, though, Greenawalt took on a larger project: removing the forest-green shag carpet in her stairway and front hall. It took about two months to rip it up and clean and stain the wood underneath. (Greenawalt didn’t consult her landlord before undertaking her flooring project, but you should, or you run the risk of having to undo all your hard work before you move out.) Though her alterations may prove temporary, she’s pleased with the result. “I don’t need new and highquality items, but I do need to like my environment and appreciate my space,” Greenawalt says. “I walk up the stairs now, and I get so excited. Renovation Reality These desirable units are often hard to find. One reason is that renovating older units is expensive for the management. But some properties see renovations as an investment to increase revenue, such as the major undertaking three years ago at The Alden Apartments (2620 13th St. NW; 800-984-5044) in Columbia Heights. The 18-month overhaul of the rundown building was “more intense than we anticipated,” says Josh Benaim, principal at Aria Development Group. His team fixed the water and heating systems and the roof, and invested in what he calls “the fundamentals” — hardwood floors, upgraded kitchens and washers and dryers. They also added techie amenities: iPhone-driven thermostats, video intercoms for security and building-wide high-speed Wi-Fi. Perfect Timing Many older buildings renovate in stages, so timing is key for renters looking to snap up newer units. Hoffman and his three roommates had to make some adjustments to their timeline once they found a building they liked. At the Winston House (2140 L St. NW; 202-785-2200), community director Michael Sun had an unrenovated apartment available. But the group told Sun they would wait for a refurbished unit, which came with a fully renovated kitchen and bathrooms, hardwood floors and upgraded appliances. They struck a deal. Sun leased them the unrenovated unit for a month, until the next redone unit was completed. The unit was worth the hassle of mov i ng t w ice a nd a n increased rent (the redone unit cost $250 more a month, or $3,930) for Hoffman and his roommates. “Plus, it really makes us feel cleaner,” Hoffman says.

Really Quiet On the Set Film When director Liza Johnson was preparing to bring “Hateship Loveship” to the screen, she knew she wanted cinematographer Kasper Tuxen — whose work she had seen in 2010’s “Beginners” — on board. Not because of any nifty tricks he makes his camera do, but because he’s willing to do what a lot of people aren’t: sit still. Johnson The film, out locally Friday, has a complex story — a nanny (Kristen Wiig) is duped into thinking her charge’s estranged father is into her — but Johnson and Tuxen relied on quiet, deliberate camerawork to tell it. There’s no tilting, no twirling,

and the lens lingers on individual characters for a second or two longer than in most films, so audiences can observe how they act after they’ve stopped speaking. “The simplicity of the camerawork generates a certain kind of feeling or impression,” Johnson says. “By limiting that motion, it lets you see the characters’ emotion more.” In the film, which is based on a short story by Alice Munro, Wiig’s Johanna is hired as a nanny for Sabitha (Hailee Steinfeld). Fake Ken’s emails paint such a romantic picture of domestic bliss that the mousy, sheltered Johanna is suckered in — she packs up her furniture and heads off to marry Ken, only to find he barely has any idea she exists. Johnson says she chose her style of shooting in part because of Munro’s storytelling (though the screen-
play wasn’t written by Munro). “[She] is a really forceful writer, but she’s not melodramatic. She doesn’t underline things,” Johnson says. “You can’t make direct translations of her stories because they’re so interior.” Which is why Johnson tells much of the story through her actors’ faces. “I hope the film gives credit to the viewer to make their own deci-
sion about what to feel,” Johnson says. “It doesn’t force you to feel a certain way at a certain moment.” Instead, audiences can sit back and listen to what the silent moments say. Wiig’s Flip Side That’s unfair on a couple of levels. First, the movie as a whole is great. Second, every performance in the movie is good — the supporting cast has earned five acting Oscar nominations (three for Nick Nolte and one each for Hailee Steinfeld and Christine Lahti, who actually won an Oscar for best short film in 1996. Isn’t that weird?), not to mention that Guy
Pearce and Jennifer Jason Leigh aren’t exactly schlubs when it comes to the craft. Even relative newcomer Sami Gayle, whose last feature role was “refugee daughter” in “Noah,” turns in a creepily cold performance as a cruel teenage queen bee. Talking only about Wiig does a disservice to the work the others do. Last, it’s dialogue that’s unfair

to Kristen Wiig. Obviously she’s known for comedic roles. The idea that comedy is all she can do because that’s what she’s always done is reductive and, frankly, wrong. If you needed proof that Wiig can do a dramatic turn,
you didn’t really pay attention to “Bridesmaids.” Remember when she was alone in her kitchen and made herself a fancy cupcake? It’s a silent scene in which Wiig breaks your heart without even speaking. Moreover, comedy done well —
and Wiig does comedy very well — looks so easy. And it is so, so hard. Not only because it takes a combination of an immense amount of work and the good luck to be born funny, but also because at the heart of every great comedic bit is an undercurrent of drama; a man slipping on a banana peel is funny precisely because, in part, that guy could really get hurt. “Hateship Loveship” is so much more than Kristen Wiig not being funny. True, it’s a chance for Wiig to show her versatility, but her versatility shouldn’t come as a surprise. She’s been showing it all along — it’s just that a lot of people weren’t looking. Jonas Armstrong plays Elek Cohen (the real guy was Pinchas Rosenbaum), a Hungarian Jew studying in Budapest in 1944. When the Nazis arrive, he flees to his hometown and forms a small resistance organization focused mostly on getting Swiss passports for his neighbors, which would allow them to escape to the neutral country. After the rest of his family is shipped to a labor camp, Cohen steals a uniform from a dead German and begins to impersonate an SS soldier. He then infiltrates meetings and social events and even manages to halt mass executions and detour trucks carrying people

‘Vivian Maier’s’ Private Eye A secretive woman’s belongings yield a wealth of talent
‘Finding Vivian Maier’ (NR) Director: John Maloof and Charlie Siskel In a Nutshell: The discovery of her cache of more than 100,000 photos makes an introverted nanny one of the most accomplished street photographers of her generation.
How odd that the documentary “Finding Vivian Maier” should arrive in theaters alongside “Hateship Loveship,” a drama about a quiet nanny who nurtures an improbably rich inner life. “Finding Vivian Maier” tells something of the same story, about a real-life nanny who has only come into her own years after her death. In 2007, John Maloof, a young writer working on a history of the Chicago neighborhood where he grew up, purchased a cache of photographic negatives at auction that turn out to be brilliant examples of mid-20th century street photography. They were made by Vivian Maier, a Chicago woman with no discernible footprint in the art world or digital universe at large. Intrigued, Maloof began to acquire more of her negatives. Using the scores of receipts, notes, scraps of paper and detritus Maier had hoard-

ed throughout her lifetime, Maloof managed to get in touch with the people who had known and worked with her from the 1960s until her death in 2009. Together with Charlie Siskel, Maloof has made a chronicle of his investigation with “Finding Vivian Maier,” in which he discovers that his subject worked as a housekeeper and governess in Chicago’s pros-
perous North Shore neighborhoods. The results of her amateur pastime were stunning. When Maloof shows her images to the photographer Mary Ellen Mark, she compares Maier’s work to that of Helen Levitt, Robert Frank and Diane Arbus. Joel Meyerowitz, himself a master of spontaneous, from-the-hip street portraits, pronounces Maier’s work as suffused with the kind of

human understanding that proves she was “a real shooter.” In some cases it’s clear that her subjects have consented to Maier’s ministrations but in others, that implicit contract is barely acknowledged, let alone respected. Then again, the photographer herself didn’t print her pictures — it’s Maloof who, quite possibly in abrogation of Maier’s own wishes, is making her work known today. “Finding Vivian Maier” addresses all of these thorny questions with admirable honesty, all the while treating viewers to the exquisite photographs that possess undeniable power. part. But rarely do you believe a word he says when he attempts to be threatening. There’s too much hesitation and not enough conviction. Later, Tremaine reveals redeeming qualities, which RZA embodies with more believability. At times the Parkour-like fight sequences technique requires per-
haps too much suspension of disbelief, especially when a character is jumping from one rooftop to another, climbing brick walls or overpowering as many as four men at once. At the heart of the film is the social commentary focusing on a community divided. Within Brick Mansions, there is no school, hospital or police station, and those who live there are mostly minorities. It’s made clear that the government could care less about the Brick folks, as they’re said to contribute nothing to society. This is not a film that will shift anyone’s moral compass. “It’s about telling a story when you get dressed — who am I today?” Friedman says, as she ties a simple, drapey bow in a Sayami wool scarf ($60, Proper Topper). This style will work on almost any long, rectangular piece, and looks good prettying up a boyish look, say a blazer and jeans.

Shaw-based illustrator Lauren Friedman owns well over a hundred scarves, from patterned silk squares nabbed from her grandmother’s bureau to swoopy modern mufflers. “No matter how you feel about your body or what kind of a hair day you’re having, a scarf adds an exclamation point to what you’re wearing,” says Friedman, who also blogs at myclosetinsketches.com. Inspired by her collection, Friedman wrote and illustrated “50 Ways to Wear a Scarf” ($15, Chronicle Books), a whimsical new TIY (tie-it-yourself) book full of drawings and directions showing how to create head wraps, neck knots and more. We followed her around on a recent Friday, photographing her as she tied one on at local boutiques. She’ll be signing books and doing demos May 8, 4-7 p.m. at Proper Topper. Two simple knots can turn a large, oblong scarf into an elegant jacket-y thing. “It conveys drama, the way the scarf flows and billows behind you as you walk,” Freidman says. “It can be casual, dressy or sexy, but most importantly, it’s such a gorgeous way to show off a really beautiful scarf with nice drape.” Use a recycled sari silk scarf ($42, GoodWood).

Marlo Thomas Eons before Zooey Deschanel batted her big eyes on “New Girl” (and a few years before the “Mary Tyler Moore Show”), actress Marlo Thomas became TV’s prototypical working it chick, starring in “That Girl” from 1966 to 1971. Since then, she’s also penned kid’s books (“Free to Be You and Me”) and worked as an activist. She’ll be at the National Portrait Gallery on May 1 for a Smithsonian Associates event to speak about her new book, “It Ain’t Over…Till It’s Over” ($27, Simon & Schuster), which follows women who have reinvented themselves in mid life. What keeps women from reinventing themselves? A lot of women in their 40s get stuck, and their dreams run out on them. They’ve raised a family, and they’re seeking what to do next. It’s exciting, but it’s scary. Why change your life? It’s such a big thing to do. But sometimes circumstances force it. And women over 40 are not welcome with open arms in the job market. In almost every field, it’s harder to get in if you are older.
What did some of the women in the book do? One woman, she was a graphic artist, but she’d always wanted to be a doctor. So at 38, she went back to medical school, and she did it. And another woman, who actually is from D.C., started a cupcake truck [Curbside Cupcakes]. Any advice for people looking to make big life changes? You must do a thorough reassessment of yourself. Ask yourself if you are doing the thing you wanted to

Then think about something that there’s a need for, say, a mobile manicure and pedicure service. Find out what you like to do, and then take a step every day. My agent had sent me so many scripts where the woman was the daughter or wife of someone, and I liked that it was a show about the girl being the somebody.
