4/19: Wildwood Catholic’s Casino Night At Convention Hall

«

While this was the Third Annual Casino Night benefiting Wildwood Catholic High School, it was the first to be held at Cape May’s Convention Hall, and it was a slam dunk. “This was even more successful than last year,” said PTA President Valarie Sorensen. “And there was even more community involvement than years past. It was such a great feeling that night.” A record 250 people (including one couple all the way from Virginia) turned up to support the school and enjoy the Boardwalk Empire-themed evening, which included not only a Frank Sinatra cover singer, but casino games and the donated food of area restaurants like Isand Grill, Washington Inn, Harbor View, and Pier House. Then, of course, there were the costumes. “The school’s president, Father Wallace, came dressed as Nucky,” Valarie said.
