What’s Your Story?
Every week, we ask: Who the heck are you and what are you doing here? Who are you? Shery and Mike McCurdy. Where are you from? Avalon, New Jersey. Where are you right now? At The Ebbitt Room. It’s our first time here since it’s been renovated, and it’s beautiful. What were you doing when we interrupted you? Having a lovely chat and enjoying a glass of wine at the bar. Do you come to Cape May often? More so now than in the summer, when it’s more crowded. Where are you going after this? First, to the dining room for a Valentine’s dinner, then back to Avalon... we have to work tomorrow! So, you’re Valentines then? We’ve been married 47 years, and we’re still Valentines.
