HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Bill Howard...team captain as a senior while earning second-team All-District honors...Red Zone Player of the Year in 2007...Fighting Pride Award and Academic All-State...threw the shot put in track and also played baseball...Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Rachel’s Challenge and PALS.

AT ETBU: 2008 -- Played in ever game as a sophomore and finished with a teamhigh 53 tackles...added a half-sack and two fumble recoveries...had a career-high eight tackles three times, a three-game stretch in the second half of the year...posted six or more tackles five times...had five tackles and a half-sack at Texas Lutheran on Sept. 27...finished with six tackles and a fumble recovery agaisnt McMurry...seven tackles in a loss at Hardin-Simmons on Oct. 11...had eight tackles in each game of a three-game stretch against Mississippi College, Mary Hardin-Baylor and Azusa Pacific...also named to ASC All-Academic team. 2007 -- Played in five games, all in the final seven weeks of the year...finished with two tackles in those five appearances... also played on the junior varsity.
