Warranty Notes

The term “defect”, as it is used in this warranty, is defined as a flaw or deficiency that may affect the use for which the product is intended. Only the original purchaser holds the right to a valid warranty. This warranty is valid only if the purchase is made from an authorized EQ3 retailer. For inquiries about an EQ3 product, concerns with an EQ3 product or when making a claim under this warranty, please contact the retailer from whom the purchase was originally made. Transportation to and from the retailer is the responsibility of the purchaser. Always keep your receipt as proof of purchase. The original receipt is required for any warranty claim. When making a claim under this warranty, proof of purchase with the original bill of sale and the product serial number are required. In addition, EQ3 requires photo verification of the defect or quality concern. Should any of these not be available, EQ3 reserves the right to deny the claim.

Please contact your dealer for parts and service. Surfaces require regular dusting. When cleaning is required, dampen a cloth with water and wipe. Immediately wipe it with a dry cloth. Do not use strong cleaners. The use of any after-treatment products, unless purchased at an EQ3 store, will invalidate this warranty.

Cautions for Casegoods includes wood , metal and lacquered furniture

Wipe liquids or spills from furniture immediately. Avoid contact with sharp objects (including writing without a desk pad). Use plastic placemats or rubber foot protectors on items such as radios, computers, telephones and accessories.

Warranty conditions are subject to change without notice.

Exposure of furniture to direct sunlight, extreme sources of heat or candle wax may damage or fade colour.

In no event shall the responsibility of EQ3 exceed the purchase price of the product or replacement.

Please refer to safety warning labels on all products and follow all instructions.

This warranty applies only to standard household use conditions and does not cover defects or damage caused by the following circumstances:

Care should be taken when moving furniture within your home. Carefully wrap the furniture, including the corners, feet and bottom of the furniture, with a protective covering. This will help avoid damage to floors and/or wall surfaces, as well as help to prevent damage to the furniture itself.

Do not move furniture on bare hardwood floors. At all times, place furniture on a protective area rug or on protective hardwood felt pads. This will protect your hardwood floors from potential scratches. Do not allow children to climb, play, step on or lean against open drawers or shelves. Do not open more than one drawer at a time. Do not remove the manufacturing labels from product. Please refer to Assembly Instructions, where applicable, for further information. Keep Assembly instructions for future reference. Product must be assembled by an adult.

Retail, business, commercial, institutional or other non-residential uses. Products purchased “as is” or second-hand. Products purchased from distressed or liquidation sales. Products deemed to have been misused, mishandled, altered or abused. Any condition resulting from unusual usage. Inadequate maintenance, cleaning or care that does not comply with instructions. Deliberate damage. Personal Alterations. Accidents Any damage caused by animals. Direct exposure to sun and heat.

EQ3 offers a full one (1) year warranty against defects in material and workmanship on casegood products. Warranties are subject to normal household use from date of purchase. The use of any after-treatment products, unless purchased at an EQ3 store, will invalidate this warranty. When making a claim under this warranty, the holder should contact the retailer from whom the purchase was made. Transportation to and from the retailer is the responsibility of the purchaser. Some materials such as wood, veneer and other natural materials, have natural variations which are characteristic of the product. Natural materials are subject to colour changes due to environment or sunlight. These normal variations are not covered under our warranty.
