In summary The European Palm Oil Alliance (EPOA) provides a balanced and objective view on the nutritional and sustainability and functional aspects of palm oil. We strongly support the uptake of 100% sustainable palm oil. We facilitate and support national industry alliances on sustainable palm oil in Europe to ensure a coordinated approach. We engage with European and national stakeholders as well as key organisations. To ensure a good understanding on the topics, we have created a variety of science-based communications tools. EPOA is supported by multiple European vegetable oil refiners and by Malaysian and Indonesian governmental organisations. 6
